Job Description
Resident Safety Officer
This leading Asian – based contractor with multiple on-going construction projects in Hong Kong. They are actively looking for a Resident Safety Officer to oversee the civil project.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the site inspection, investigations and implementation of health and safety measures under the statutory regulation and contractual requirement.
- Plan and coordinate ESH promotion campaigns and training to maintain the safety practices.
- Lead and attend the safety committee meetings to follow up safety issues and ensure construction activities undertake FIU Ordinance.
- Assist Safety Manager to handle internal and external safety audit periodically.
Requirements:
- Registered Safety Officer of Labour Department.
- 5 years post registration experience site construction, handling site accident and incident is an advantage.
- Familiar with the legal safety ordinance, a validated safety training certificate is a must.
- Good command of written and spoken in English and Chinese.
