Our client are a major vessel/shipping operator, who are now seeking a Boarding Officer

 

 

•Perform vessels' compliance with sub-coordinates

•Knowledge in the Hong Kong Shipping Ordinance

•Min. 1 yr of sea-going exp/ 2yrs shore-based expJob Description Job Responsibilities:

•Attends all vessels, including international cruises in Hong Kong and southern China in orderto ensure that they are in compliance with all pre-arrival and departure formalities.

•Supervises and coordinates with sub-contractors, consignees/surveyors or other local partiesrelated to vessel/cargo operations, bunkering, crew change, crew medical assistance, spareparts shipment/delivery Cash-To-Master.

•Compiles and submits port disbursement account to Principals/Owners for reimbursement.

•Reports timely the work progress to Principals/Owners/Management of the company.

 

Job requirements:

 

•Diploma or above in related disciplines

•Minimum 2 years related shore-based experiences in Shipping/ Operation fields

•General knowledge in the Hong Kong Shipping Ordinance

•Good command of written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin

•Customer focus, good interpersonal and negotiating skills

•Computer literate with emphasis on MS Office and Excels
