This Asian Conglomerate is globally listed with portfolio across Financial Services, Education, Media& Entertainment, Hospitality and many more. Given rapid expansion and more exciting projects going on, they would like to setup a small but efficient corporate communications team to drive the communications activities to elevate the company's publicity and reputation.
Job responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic communication plans to enhance the company's reputation and brand awareness
- Manage internal and external communication channels, such as newsletters, social media, website, press releases
- Build and maintain positive relationships with journalists, influencers, and other media stakeholders
- Coordinate and facilitate media interviews, press conference and other media events
- Monitor and analyse media coverage and trends, and prepare reports and recommendations
- Manage media inquiries and crisis communications
Skills and Experience that will lead to success:
- At least 8 years professional experience in public and corporate communications. Experience in Conglomerate, Listed Companies, PR agencies, Financial Services, Tech sector or sizable companies would be advantageous
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Journalism, Communications, or related disciplines
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese writing
- Solid experience in brand strategy and communications planning, generating creative storytelling ideas and the capability to lead execution
- Can work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines; strong stakeholder management
- A strong network of media and industry contacts in Hong Kong and the region
