Job Description
Sourcing Specialist (Location: Vietnam, HCMC)
Responsibilities:
- On-site support & Tracking of order status, from Order to Production to Shipment (Ho Chi Minh)
- Work closely with Hardgood factories and HK Sourcing team for projects from product development, sample approval, testing, until completion of shipments
- Source and develop potential suppliers to support company’s business plans and to fulfill internal customers’ requests
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure factories meet Company’s standard (compliance / testing / supply chain)
- Stocktaking in manufacturing company for Supply Chain during peak season
- Handling material commitment audit and finished good production audit on site at factory
- Tracking of supplier production status
- Responsible for data input
- Manage any ad hoc projects as directed by manager
Qualifications:
- Diploma or above in business administration, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or other relevant disciplines
- At least 2-3 years solid experience in sourcing / merchandising / supply chain
- Good command of both spoken & written in English, Mandarin is a plus
- Proactive, self-initiated, flexible
- Proficiency in using MS Office applications, including Excel / PowerPoint
- Responsible and able to work independently and with teams
- Good negotiation and presentation skills
- Must be able to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
- Frequent travel is required
