The brands are scaling rapidly, our product portfolios are expanding, and operational footprint is crossing global borders. To sustain this momentum, their executive leadership needs to step out of day-to-day operations to focus entirely on capitalization, long-term vision, and strategic partnerships. We are now hiring a Director of Strategy and Operations to step into that operational vacuum. We need a brilliant, trusted partner who can step in, grab the steering wheel of our day-to-day business engine, and keep the machine running seamlessly as we scale toward our next major milestones. This role effectively operates as the mini-CEO.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with executive leadership to define, prioritize, and drive the execution of core strategic goals and commercial milestones.
- Design and police the company's daily, weekly, and quarterly operational frameworks to ensure all business units remain aligned on key metrics.
- Represent the executive office in critical cross-functional meetings, steering high-stakes projects to fruition and unblocking teams before momentum slows down.
- You will look across supply chain, logistics, customer experience, growth marketing, and digital product pipelines to ensure every single cog in the machine is moving in sync.
- Foster a high-performance culture by designing scorecard systems and operational rituals that empower team leads to own their KPIs.
- Act as the ultimate operational troubleshooter; identify structural gaps, eliminate internal silos, and dive deep to personally rebuild processes when performance dips.
- Direct high-priority growth projects from ideation to initial execution, establishing the operating playbook before scaling or delegating.
- Evaluate ongoing resource allocation across tech, talent, and marketing initiatives to maximize ROI and operational velocity.
Requirements
- 10+ years of high-growth experience in Management Consulting, Strategy & BizOps, Venture Capital, or as an Operations Lead at a scaling consumer startup.
- Exceptional commercial acumen with a track record of driving cross-functional teams toward unified financial and operational KPIs.
- Eagerness to build strategic systems from scratch while maintaining a willingness to roll up your sleeves and fix granular problems directly.
- Exceptional structured communication and project management skills; capable of turning chaotic, ambiguous ideas into clear, operational roadmaps.
- Advanced analytical skills with a deep comfort level parsing financial models, supply chain metrics, and digital growth data to drive strategic choices.
- Proven ability to influence executive leadership, manage diverse team dynamics, and act as a trusted advisor to founders
Office Location: Central, Hong Kong
Budget: HK$90,000 – 140,000 per month + bonus + employee benefits.
