Merchandising Manager — Linen & Textiles (Apparel)
My client is market leading textiles company based out of Hong Kong. They are looking for an experienced Merchandising Manager with deep linen/textiles knowledge and a strong commercial mindset. Responsible for product range, pricing, P&L contribution and winning/expanding key accounts across apparel sector.
Responsibilities
- Own merchandising strategy for linen apparel categories.
- Develop seasonal and core ranges, SKU planning and pricing to meet margin targets.
- Win and manage key accounts (retailers, premium brands etc); create bespoke commercial propositions.
- Work with design, sourcing and production to ensure cost, quality and on‑time delivery.
- Monitor market trends, raw-material costs and competitor activity; drive actionable changes.
- Track KPIs: sell-through, margin, inventory turns and account revenue.
Requirements
- Degree Educated with 10+ years in textiles/linen merchandising (apparel is desirable).
- Proven track record winning major accounts and driving commercial growth.
- Strong commercial acumen, P&L experience and negotiation skills.
- Technical knowledge of linen and blends, supply chain and quality standards.
- Good analytical skills; ERP/merchandising systems experience.
- Willing to travel for buyers, suppliers and trade shows.
- Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is a must!
Budget:
HK$30,000 x 40,000 per month + Bonus
