Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated accounts for the group and its subsidiaries, ensuring full adherence to HKFRS/IFRS reporting standards.
- Manage project-related financial performance, including cost reviews, revenue recognition using percentage‑of‑completion, and cash flow planning for ongoing construction projects.
- Oversee group-wide tax matters and act as the main contact for external auditors to ensure smooth completion of statutory audits and regulatory filings.
- Develop and refine financial control frameworks specific to construction operations to strengthen governance, efficiency, and risk mitigation.
- Provide timely financial analysis to support management decisions, including tender assessments, project feasibility reviews, and financing activities.
Requirements:
- Degree holder or above in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines; professional qualifications such as CPA/ACCA or equivalent are required.
- Minimum of 5 years’ solid experience handling complex consolidation for large groups.
- At least 8 years’ experience in financial management, ideally gained from construction, engineering, or property development environments, experience working in a listed company is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical skills with strong leadership and communication abilities; fluent in Cantonese and English, with Mandarin considered an asset.
- Hands-on experience implementing or upgrading ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or construction-focused ERP) is highly preferred.
