About Role
The Infrastructure Engineer will be based in the Kuala Lumpur office and will play a key role in supporting and maintaining the organisation’s technology environment across multiple jurisdictions. This role focuses on administering Microsoft 365 and Azure services, delivering Level 2 support, and ensuring stable, secure, and efficient IT operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical professional with strong problem-solving abilities and experience managing modern cloud-based infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune
- Manage and maintain Azure infrastructure components such as virtual machines, networking, and identity services
- Provide Level 2 support for infrastructure-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and optimize various Microsoft technologies
- Assist with basic desktop support tasks including troubleshooting hardware/software issues and user onboarding
- Monitor system performance, conduct routine maintenance, and implement improvements
- Participate in infrastructure projects, upgrades, and migrations
- Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and configurations
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Higher diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computing, or related fields
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Level 2 infrastructure administrator
- Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft 365 and Azure
- Familiarity with other Microsoft technologies (e.g., Windows Server, Active Directory, SCCM, Power Platform) is a plus
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Experience with desktop support in a corporate environment
- Excellent communication skills in English, Chinese would be advantageous
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
