Responsibilities
- Security Strategy & Leadership: Design and implement a robust security framework that aligns with business goals and regulatory standards, ensuring the protection of sensitive data across all operations.
- Risk & Vulnerability Management: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, proactively identify security threats, and implement mitigation strategies to strengthen data protection.
- Policy & Governance: Establish clear, effective security policies, standards, and procedures that foster a strong security culture across the organization.
- Incident Response & Crisis Management: Develop and oversee a proactive incident response plan, leading investigations and coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
- Technology & Digital Development Oversight: Partner with IT and digital teams to embed security into system and application development, ensuring a seamless and secure user experience.
- Team Leadership & Talent Development: Lead and mentor a high-performing security team, cultivating a security-first mindset across departments.
- Executive & Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with leadership and business units to integrate security initiatives into broader company strategies, providing regular updates and insights.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in information security and IT infrastructure, with at least 5 years in a leadership role—experience in e-commerce or digital businesses is a strong advantage.
- Industry certifications such as PMP, CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.
- A strong foundation in security frameworks, risk management, and compliance, particularly within digital commerce or retail sector.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive change, and influence stakeholders in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex cybersecurity concepts into actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences alike.
