Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute financial strategy aligned with business goals
- Advise the executive team on financial planning, risk management, and funding strategies
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes including global consolidation from subsidiaries in China PRC, Hong Kong, Vietnam and United States, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP and other local accounting standards as applicable
- Implement and maintain financial controls and systems
- Ensure compliance with local tax, legal, and regulatory requirements
- Support fundraising efforts including financial modeling, due diligence, and investor communications
- Manage relationships with investors, auditors, and financial institutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent qualifications required
- 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting
- 5+ years owning the accounting function and leading the team in early stage companies
- Experience in logistics industry is an advantage
- International consolidation experience preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
- Highly proficient in Excel and BI tools and very comfortable with handling large set of unstructured financial data sets
- Experience implementing and using ERP systems and maintaining the general ledger and chart of accounts
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional global teams and drive large-scale transformation projects
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, fluency in English and Mandarin
