Position: IT Specialist
- Job Overview
The role involves managing the daily maintenance of application systems, resolving incidents, and addressing software and hardware issues. It includes providing technical assistance to end-users, coordinating IT projects with internal teams and external vendors, and offering IT administrative support. A strong understanding of operating systems, networks, troubleshooting, and firewall technologies is essential, along with analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose IT application issues. The role also includes managing Microsoft 365 environments and performing additional IT-related tasks as assigned.
- Responsibilities & Duties:
- Responsible for day-to-day maintenance of the application systems in operation and analyses and resolves incidents/requests regarding application software or hardware use.
- Responsible for day-to-day infrastructure support, e.g. desktop, printer, network, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Exchange Online, Endpoint management).
- Manages user accounts, permissions, licenses, and security policies to ensure that communication and cooperation run smoothly.
- Manages IT Assets
- Communicate and collaborate with colleagues and superiors to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Oversee data management and governance.
- Provide technical assistance and support to end-users experiencing software application issues.
- Work closely and coordinate IT project activities with internal departments and external vendors.
- Provide IT administrative support activities and assistance to users.
- Understand operating systems, networks, troubleshooting, and firewall technologies.
- Proactive with good data analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve IT application issues.
- Performing any other IT-related duties assigned.
- Experienced in managing Microsoft 365 environment.
- Requirement:
- At least 3-5 years experience in Microsoft 365 Environment.
- At least 5-7 years experience in an IT environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office suite, Exchange Online, Outlook, Teams IM, collaboration and voice, Security and Compliance Management, SharePoint Online, and Endpoint Management.
- Follows best practices in an enterprise standard setting.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to support and troubleshoot issues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Can work in a multi-cultural environment.
