HR Manager (Grobogan / Manufacturing Industry)

About Company:
Our client is a leading consumer product manufacturing company to be based in Grobogan, Indonesia. But initially to work in Semarang factory first as new factory being built.

About Role:

Our client is currently hiring for an HR Manager who will play a crucial role in developing & implementing HR strategies, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with local Indonesian labor laws and regulations. This role will be instrumental in supporting the growth and operational efficiency of the new manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, training & development, performance management, and employee engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with Indonesian labor laws, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures tailored to the manufacturing environment.
  • Manage industrial relations and liaise with government bodies as needed.
  • Support organizational development and change management initiatives.
  • Collaborate with department heads to align HR strategies with business goals.
  • Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions professionally and fairly.
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics for management and headquarters.
  • Assist with ad hoc tasks as assigned by management.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Over 8 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Indonesian; Chinese would be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
