Role Summary

We are looking for a proactive, relationship-oriented Business Development / Sales Manager to become part of our rapidly growing team. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about ESG and sustainability and possess a solid understanding of the financial industry. We prioritize attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to genuinely understand and meet client needs over specific technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with asset managers, banks, institutional investors, and corporate clients focusing on ESG and sustainability solutions.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, comprehending their challenges and aligning company's services to provide real value.
  • Clearly communicate company’s unique value proposition and guide clients through the entire solution process, from initial contact to closing and onboarding.
  • Remain updated on changing ESG regulations, market trends, and sustainability frameworks pertinent to the financial sector.
  • Collaborate with internal product, marketing, and sustainability teams to customize solutions according to client needs.
  • Participate in industry events, webinars, and networking opportunities to broaden company’s influence and leadership in the field.
  • Meet and surpass sales targets through a consultative, client-centered approach.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management, preferably in the financial sector.
  • Strong interest or background in ESG, sustainability reporting, or responsible investing.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities—capable of simplifying complex topics into engaging narratives.
  • A consultative mindset with empathy—skilled at understanding client challenges and motivations.
  • A proactive and optimistic attitude, coupled with a desire to learn and grow.
  • An existing network in the financial or ESG/sustainability sectors is a significant plus.
  • A purpose-driven individual passionate about making a positive impact in sustainable finance.
