Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Engineer
- Manage external IT support vendors to ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and meet local business needs.
- Coordinate IT support requirements with vendor teams, IT teams and business partners.
- Oversee daily IT infrastructure service activities and project delivery.
- Ensure effective delivery of meeting room technology and support for high-profile digital/virtual events.
- Explore innovative technologies to simplify and automate processes. Provide IT consultancy and operational support.
Act as a change agent for global infrastructure project adoption and implementation. - Facilitate education for the business to enhance productivity through technology.
- Manage site telecom hub and infrastructure assets.
- Assist with IT equipment procurement and routine operations.
- Conduct access security reviews.
Quality and Compliance
- Assist with implementing and maintaining quality and compliance standards as guided by the organization’s Quality and Compliance Lead.
- Support audits and preparation efforts.
- Identify and oversee solutions for IT quality governance improvements.
- Monitor IT quality levels and initiate corrective actions as needed.
- Provide operational compliance reporting and enhance reporting efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, preferably in MNC or sizeable companies.
- Knowledge of supporting infrastructure technology (Desktop, Mobility, Network, Conference Room Technologies).
- Experience with Microsoft productivity tools (Office 365, Outlook, Teams).
- Familiarity with automation tools like Power Apps; knowledge of Power BI is advantageous.
- Ability to manage multiple projects (ITIL practices) with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with AI productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) and basic knowledge of generative AI.
- Understanding of quality and compliance-related practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of Chinese and English.
