Sourcing Manager (Based in Vietnam)

Key Responsibilities:
- Brand Promotion: Support the promotion of the company’s brands by aligning sourcing strategies with overall business objectives and values.
- Partner Identification: Identify and evaluate potential partners, assessing their product and manufacturing capabilities. Ensure a smooth onboarding process that integrates with global sourcing operations.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct market research to identify business opportunities and assess potential risks.
- Cost Analysis & Negotiation: Analyze product details and cost structures with an emphasis on quality and manufacturability. Lead negotiations to achieve competitive pricing through strategic approaches.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration across teams to ensure compliance with sourcing standards and quality assurance practices.
- Strategy Implementation: Work closely with sourcing teams to ensure alignment with organizational strategies and objectives.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data to optimize partner relationships and guide business decisions.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing or merchandising, ideally within hardline products.
- Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English. Proficiency in Chinese is advantageous.
- Previous experience in a global organization, trading company, or retail sourcing and development is highly preferred.
- A solid understanding of market trends and industry dynamics within the relevant geographic region.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and teamwork skills, with a collaborative approach to achieving goals.
- Self-driven, dedicated, and committed to ongoing personal and professional development.
- Proficiency in office software (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), with strong analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally.
