About the Role
The Assistant Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the development and execution of localized marketing strategies for the Hong Kong and Macau region. This role requires a strong background in retail or sportswear marketing, the ability to manage integrated campaigns, and a passion for creative, data-driven decision-making to effectively grow the brand in the local market.
Key Responsibilities
- Localized Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement marketing plans tailored to the HK & Macau markets, aligning with global and regional strategies.
- Agency and Partner Collaboration: Coordinate with agencies, KOLs, and partners to plan and execute impactful campaigns, events, and retail marketing activities.
- Event Management: Lead the organization of key events, including marathons, pop-ups, and community initiatives like running clubs and master classes.
- Content and Social Media: Create and manage localized digital content, including social media calendars and influencer outreach programs. Monitor engagement and ROI using analytics tools.
- Retail and Trade Marketing: Develop seasonal go-to-market plans for retail stores, including pop-ups, concept stores, and experience centers. Work closely with distributors on visual merchandising and sales forecasts.
- Paid Media: Optimize paid social media campaigns for maximum ROI in HK, Macau, and Taiwan.
- Reporting and Analysis: Compile regular reports on marketing performance, audience growth, engagement rates, and campaign effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Digital Media, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 6–7 years experience in marketing and social media management, ideally in the retail or sportswear industry.
- Experience working with agencies, KOLs, and partners to execute co-branded campaigns and events.
- Energetic, presentable, and adaptable, with a passion for the sports and retail industry.
- Strong project management skills with a history of creating integrated campaigns for global brands.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, analytics tools, and content management systems (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprinklr).
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and an understanding of digital marketing trends.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese is preferred.
