Our client, a leading multinational pharmaceutical company renowned for its commitment to scientific innovation and a strong pipeline of cutting-edge therapies, is seeking a Medical Affairs Manager with expertise in neurology. Key Responsibilities:
As a Medical Affairs Manager, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining professional relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and scientific experts. Your responsibilities will include driving strategic scientific initiatives such as advisory boards, educational meetings, and clinical studies, while ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations. You will effectively engage with healthcare professionals, delivering comprehensive scientific information about newly launched neurological products and responding to inquiries from the medical information and sales teams.
- Foster Collaboration with KOLs and Healthcare Professionals: Actively engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals to build strong partnerships that facilitate knowledge-sharing and collaboration within the medical community.
- Support the Development of Therapeutic Area Medical Plans: Contribute to the formulation and execution of comprehensive medical plans that address specific therapeutic areas, including data analysis and the preparation of medical letters and scientific disclosures.
- Provide Scientific Input for Promotional Materials: Offer expert scientific insights to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of promotional materials, and support the training of internal teams, including sales representatives, on product-related information.
- Coordinate Scientific Engagement Activities: Organize and facilitate scientific engagement activities with clinical experts to promote ongoing collaboration and information exchange with related stakeholders and key opinions leaders.
- Respond to Inquiries from Medical Information and Sales Teams: Address questions and needs from the Medical Information department and sales teams, ensuring compliance with company-wide requirements while providing timely and accurate responses.
- Plan and Implement Advisory Boards and Scientific Exchange Meetings: Support the organization and execution of advisory boards, educational meetings, and scientific exchange meetings with healthcare professionals to foster dialogue and gather valuable insights.
- Maintain Relationships with Professional Societies: Develop and sustain collaborations with relevant professional societies to enhance the company’s visibility and influence within the medical community.
- Keep abreast of the latest medical and scientific advancements relevant to the product portfolio, providing informed input to support brand teams and strategic initiatives.
- contributing clinical and scientific expertise to support cross-functional collaboration and ensuring readiness for product launches.
Key requirements:
- A Master’s degree or higher in Medical Science, pharmacology, or a related scientific discipline is required; ideally with Hong Kong Registered Pharmacist License
- 3 years’ of experience in medical affairs function in pharmaceutical industry, preferable with experiences in new pharmaceutical product launch
- In-depth understanding of the relevant neurological disease area, ensuring up-to-date knowledge of medical and scientific advancements.
- Excellent in both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Excellent analytical, organization and communication skills
