Merchandising Planning Manager (FMCG)
Our client is a major beverage manufacturer and distributor, focusing primarily on carbonated soft drinks. It operates on an extensive scale across multiple regions, handling production, distribution, and marketing of popular beverage brands. They are currently looking for an outstanding Merchandiser Planning Manager to join the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute merchandising strategies to align with company goals.
- Analyze sales and inventory data to optimize product assortment and reduce markdowns.
- Forecast sales and manage inventory levels in collaboration with supply chain teams.
- Work with buyers, marketing, and store operations to align on product and promotional strategies.
- Build relationships with vendors and manage product quality and delivery.
- Prepare and present performance reports and manage the merchandising budget.
- Conduct market research to inform product selection and trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics & Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- Min 8 years working experience in merchandising planning/demand planning/supply planning within the FMCG industry.
- Strong proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and forecasting tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
