Position Title: Accounting Manager (Semarang / IFRS / Manufacturing)
About the Company:
Our client is a leading consumer product manufacturing company (LED lights, inflatables, above-ground pools) based in Semarang, Indonesia.
About the Role:
They are currently hiring for a Senior Accounting Manager who will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and maintaining compliance with local regulations. This position reports directly to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations of the Indonesia plant, including month-end financial reporting, costing, cash forecasting, budgeting, payroll, VAT, and tax matters.
- Verify all financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Liaise with local service providers for accounting, tax, and statutory filing requirements.
- Review and enhance internal controls and procedures related to the plant.
- Supervise the accounting team’s operations and periodically report important matters to headquarters.
- Assist with ad hoc tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in IFRS is highly preferred.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
- Over 8 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in manufacturing and MNCs is highly preferred.
- Must have payroll experience.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English; Chinese would be an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software (familiarity with SAP is a definite advantage).
- Strong team player with excellent administrative skills, proactive, and well-organized.
