Head of Production – (Apparel) – Based in Cambodia

Company Overview

Our client is one of the world's leading Apparel Production Companies, with over 50 years of legacy in delivering best-in-class manufacturing services for globally known apparel brands across lifestyle wear, sportswear, outdoor apparel, knits, and denim categories.
Due to continuous growth and development, we are seeking an experienced Production Director to head up an ever-expanding apparel production factory site.
This role is responsible for ensuring factory productivity and efficiency improvements within the fashion/retail brands' production floor.

Key Responsibilities 

• Oversee day-to-day activities of over 1,000+ employees on site
• Provide advisory support to enhance the execution of work across production, sewing technology, and resource allocation
• Achieve business growth and production objectives by optimizing processes and improving overall factory productivity and efficiency
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance manufacturing capabilities and deliver high-quality products to clients
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production-related issues and bottlenecks
• Monitor and analyze production data to make data-driven decisions
• Develop and implement strategies to maintain and improve product quality standards
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and safety standards
• Champion a positive, collaborative, and continuous improvement-oriented work culture

Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Textile/Apparel, Chemical, Operations Management, or a related field
• Minimum 15 years of experience in a similar production leadership role within the apparel/fashion manufacturing industry
• Proven track record of driving productivity and efficiency improvements in a large-scale production environment
• Extensive knowledge of apparel production processes, sewing technology, and resource management
• Production Excellence, Order Fulfillment, Process Re-Engineering, Strategy Execution & planning, Production Workflow and Technology Evaluation, and Talent Development and Succession Planning
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Proficient in using production management software and data analysis tools
• English and Chinese speaking skills is highly desirable
• Based in Cambodia
