Job Description

About Our Client

Our client is an international organization operating in the semiconductor industry. As part of its continued growth in Malaysia, the company is expanding its local engineering workforce and strengthening coordination between its Malaysia operations and headquarters in China.

About the Role

This is a hands-on position focused primarily on end-to-end recruitment for engineering and technical roles in Malaysia, particularly Commissioning Engineers.

The successful candidate will manage the full recruitment process, build sustainable talent pipelines, and work closely with local and regional stakeholders to meet the company’s hiring needs. The role also includes recruitment reporting, talent-market research, and support for essential HR and office administration activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for engineering and technical positions, particularly Commissioning Engineers.
  • Source, screen, interview, and engage candidates through Malaysian job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, and direct sourcing.
  • Coordinate interviews, offers, pre-employment documentation, and onboarding.
  • Build talent pipelines for semiconductor and engineering roles.
  • Provide recruitment updates, dashboards, and talent-market insights to headquarters in China.
  • Support basic HR processes, payroll coordination, invoice verification, and office administration.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, HR, or the headhunting industry.
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end recruitment independently.
  • Experience hiring engineering, technical, manufacturing, or semiconductor talent is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Malaysian job portals and direct-sourcing methods.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, reporting, and organizational skills.
  • Fluent in Mandarin for communication with headquarters in China.
  • Proficient in English and/or Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Resourceful, collaborative, and comfortable working in a hands-on environment.
