About Our Client

Our client is a global family office with investments across real estate, entertainment, and technology. As the organization expands its real estate investment activities in Japan, its portfolio of managed properties continues to grow. The business is now seeking an experienced professional to strengthen its back-office operations and support its expanding presence in Osaka.

About the Role

Based in central Osaka, the Real Estate Management Administrator will provide support across property administration, bookkeeping, reporting, general office operations, and translation and interpretation.

This role is well suited to a highly organized and adaptable professional who has property management experience, understands basic accounting terminology, and is fluent in Japanese and either Chinese or English.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Prepare operational reports covering apartment and office leasing data.
  • Monitor and analyze rental market trends.
  • Produce property-related documents, reports, and other administrative materials.
  • Handle incoming telephone calls and welcome clients and visitors.
  • Coordinate business meetings and manage schedules.
  • Prepare internal documents and provide general administrative support.
  • Translate business documents between Japanese and Chinese or Japanese and English.
  • Provide interpretation support for meetings and day-to-day business operations.
  • Undertake other duties related to property management and office administration as required.

Requirements

  • At least three years of practical experience in apartment or property management.
  • Business-level fluency in Japanese and Chinese, or Japanese and English.
  • Understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping terminology.
  • Knowledge equivalent to Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Bookkeeping Level 3, commonly known as Nissho Boki Level 3.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an international business environment.
