Our client is a global software development company. They are looking for a Part-Time HR & Admin Professional to join their team and provide support on regular HR and office administration duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable
- Support accounts receivable activities, including preparing and depositing client cheques.
- Issue and send invoices to clients.
- Scan, record, and maintain letters received from banks.
Payroll and Tax Administration
- Arrange monthly MPF payments.
- Arrange documents for wet-ink signatures and post them to the Inland Revenue Department or other relevant government departments.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of:
- IR56B Employer’s Return.
- IR56E Notification of Commencement of Employment.
- IR56F Notification of Cessation of Employment.
- IR56M Notification of Remuneration Paid.
- IR56A Employer’s Return of Remuneration and Pensions.
- BIR51 Profits Tax Return.
- Macau Profits Tax filings.
- Coordinate the submission of audited financial statements and related tax documents.
HR and Office Administration
- Maintain and organise hard-copy files, including insurance documents and vendor invoices.
- Handle client telephone enquiries and direct them to the relevant team members.
- Coordinate new-hire onboarding and employee offboarding.
- Assist with MPF and insurance registration.
- Coordinate Employees’ Compensation Ordinance insurance matters.
- Provide general HR and administrative support as required.
- Organise local team activities, including Chinese New Year red-packet distribution, Christmas dinners, and monthly team lunches.
- Monitor and replenish office pantry supplies, including snacks and drinks.
- Submit monthly attendance records.
Other Responsibilities
- Handle procurement and vendor-management duties as assigned.
- Provide occasional support with IT device setup and configuration.
- Assist with legal and corporate administration matters as required.
- Provide general operational support to the team when needed.
Key Requirements:
- Diploma or degree holder in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in HR, office administration, accounting support, payroll, or operations administration.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Cantonese and Mandarin are preferred.
- Good understanding of accounts receivable, invoice processing, payment administration, and document filing
- Familiarity with Hong Kong HR and payroll administration, including MPF, employee insurance, and IRD-related filings.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and English & Chinese typing.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential employee and company information.
- Well-organised, responsible, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks independently.
