Account Manager – Channel Sales (Thailand)

Reporting to: SEA Regional Sales Director

Our client is a US-based global leader in fluid-handling systems and industrial equipment. They design and manufactures solutions used to move, measure, control, dispense and spray liquids and powders across industries including manufacturing, construction, automotive, aerospace, processing, and maintenance.

About the Role

This is a country-level channel leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth across Thailand through strong distributor management and new business development.

The successful candidate must be highly experienced in channel sales, capable of managing a large distributor network, and confident in driving commercial performance through structured partner engagement, field execution, and business expansion initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Channel & Distributor Management

  • Manage and develop a network of 20–30 distributors across Thailand.
  • Drive distributor performance through structured KPIs, joint business planning, and regular performance reviews.
  • Conduct joint sales visits and provide product/application training to channel partners.
  • Strengthen distributor capability, coverage, and market penetration.

Business Development

  • Identify new market opportunities, industry segments, and untapped territories.
  • Expand distribution footprint and onboard new channel partners where necessary.
  • Proactively grow key accounts within distributor portfolios.

Sales Performance & Execution

  • Own country revenue targets and ensure achievement of sales and margin goals.
  • Develop annual territory strategy aligned with SEA regional objectives.
  • Monitor pipeline, forecasts, and competitor activity.
  • Implement promotional programs and product launch strategies in collaboration with regional teams.

Market Engagement

  • Conduct regular field visits (50% travel).
  • Engage directly with contractors, factories, and industrial customers to support distributors.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers in industrial sectors.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of B2B sales experience, with strong exposure to channel sales and distributor management.
  • Proven track record managing a large distributor network (20+ partners preferred).
  • Strong business development mindset with ability to open new markets.
  • Experience in industrial, mechanical, engineering, or technical products is highly preferred.
  • Commercially driven, performance-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% across Thailand.
