As part of continued expansion in Hong Kong, the company had a new Medical Advisor headcount within Medical Affairs to support upcoming product launches and strategic medical initiatives.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to medical strategy, scientific engagement, and evidence generation while working closely with cross‑functional and regional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Medical Strategy & Launch Support

• Support the development and execution of local medical strategies aligned with new product launches and lifecycle plans
• Provide medical leadership to ensure launch readiness, including scientific messaging, medical education, and internal training

Scientific Engagement & External Partnerships

• Act as a trusted scientific expert, building and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), investigators, and healthcare professionals
• Lead high‑quality, non‑promotional scientific exchange to address unmet medical needs and advance clinical understanding

Evidence Generation & Medical Programs

• Provide medical input for investigator‑initiated studies (IIS), real‑world evidence projects, advisory boards, and scientific meetings
• Support publication planning, congress activities, and data dissemination in collaboration with regional and global teams

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Partner with commercial, market access, regulatory, and clinical development teams to ensure aligned and compliant medical input across the product lifecycle
• Serve as a key medical point of contact to support internal stakeholders while maintaining appropriate medical governance

Medical Insights, Compliance & Governance

• Gather, analyze, and communicate field medical insights to inform strategy, pipeline planning, and future evidence needs
• Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with local regulations, internal policies, and industry codes, with accurate documentation and reporting

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science, Pharmacy, Medicine, or related scientific discipline; advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD) strongly preferred
• 1–3 years of experience in Medical Affairs, Medical Advisor, or Medical Science Liaison roles within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
• Strong scientific and clinical knowledge with the ability to translate complex data into clear, impactful medical discussions
• Experience engaging with external medical stakeholders and supporting medical programs
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Comfortable working in a matrixed, regional environment and supporting launch‑phase activities
