Our client is an up-coming fashion footwear organization seeking a Head of Creative & Visual (Footwear) for its Everyday Footwear division. With a strong presence in over globally, we are committed to innovation and excellence in fashion footwear.

In this role, you will lead a talented team of over 30 individuals, fostering a culture of creativity, excellence, and collaboration. Together, we will push the boundaries of fashion footwear, ensuring our brand resonates with diverse global audiences while embracing the latest trends and insights

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a creative leader to drive innovation and introduce fresh concepts in relaxed, easy-to-wear everyday footwear. Guide teams in identifying and capitalizing on the latest Asian and global footwear trends while aligning with the brand identity and target audience.
  • Lead the development of a consistent and scalable brand visual identity, including key visuals (KVs), colour, typography, layout, imagery style, and digital visual guidelines.
  • Ensures strong visual consistency and clear brand recognition across markets and platforms.
  • Champion the creative direction for brand campaigns, product launches, and key marketing moments, overseeing all visual outputs such as graphic design, photography, video, social media visuals, and e-commerce assets
  • Lead the team in understanding the core selling points of footwear. Provide coaching on how to refine original inspirations and enhance product designs.
  • Conduct in-depth trend analysis to identify emerging styles, colours, and patterns that resonate with consumers. Utilize insights to inform design direction and product development.
  • Conduct structured research covering trends, key opinion leaders (KOLs), market leaders, and material innovations to uncover business opportunities within your categories.
  • Responsible for building and managing the visual team, establishing workflows, review standards, and delivery processes, and managing external creative partners such as designers, photographers, and agencies.
  • Work closely with commercial departments to optimize workflows and product development processes, ensuring innovative offerings are backed by thorough research.

 

Qualifications 

  • Degree in Graphic Design / Art Design or a related field from a recognized fashion school.
  • Strong knowledge of software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and PLM.
  • In-depth understanding of the global footwear markets, particularly in fast fashion and e-commerce.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in brand visual or creative roles. Experience in developing new brands or categories is a plus.
  • Proven and can demonstrates strong system-level thinking, excellent aesthetic judgment, a solid understanding of digital and e-commerce visual logic, and the ability to connect visual output with performance metrics
  • A strong portfolio showcasing successful leadership and innovative design achievements.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Based in Hong Kong or Dongguan (China).
