Job Description
Qualifications Applicants should have:
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English and Chinese;
- Strong logical thinking and systematic problem-solving abilities;
- A recognized degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline;
- Preferably at least one year of relevant post-qualification experience;
- Hands-on experience in identity and access management standards and technologies such as OpenID Connect, LDAP, PKI, Active Directory, and Entra ID;
- Solid knowledge of networking technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and RESTful API;
- Practical experience in administering Windows servers, Linux servers, and Kubernetes or DevOps environments.
Duties The appointee will join the Identity & Access Control Infrastructure team and be required to:
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of Office or his/her delegates;
- Provide after-office-hours standby/emergency support and be on-call when required;
- Offer technical support and troubleshooting services for the University’s identity and access management infrastructure;
- Assist in conducting research on authentication technologies to strengthen the security and improve the user experience of digital services across the University;
- Administer Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and Active Directory Federated Services to enable seamless integration between University systems and applications;
- Maintain and ensure the security, performance, reliability, and overall health of the University’s identity and access management infrastructure.
