Job Description
Our client is a leading IT service and consulting company across global. Currently they are looking for a System Architect (Cloud)/ Technical Service Manager for government project.
Responsibilities
- Supervise technical teams in delivering project deliverables
- Meet client business needs and support the formulation of solution strategy
- Identify risks to the proposed solution including possible risk mitigations
- Lead the technical and service design of the solution
- Manages the technical solution process within the timing objectives and restraints of the project process
- Vendor management with technical specialists
- Creates technical texts and presentations for proposals and provides input to contract and SLA
- Provide direct due diligence activities
- Maintain close relationships with Bid Management, Account Representatives, Systems Integration (SI) and Service Delivery Towers
- Monitor global IT developments, industry trends and competitors, to ensure company solutions exploit both current and future technologies in line with company CTO guidelines
Requirements
- Degree holder in Information Technology or relevant discipline.
- At least 15 years of IT experience
- At least 6 years of the following specialty experience:
- have performed system architecture design and implementation for at least one private cloud project:
- Private cloud for hosting of at least 100 VMs (virtual machines)
- DR automation solution
- Managerial and leadership experience in leading a large-scale infrastructure structure
- Private cloud infrastructures experience like VMware or RedHat OpenShift would be a great plus
- Experience across servers (Windows & Unix), physical networks, backup, restore and security
- Managed Services and IT Outsourcing experience is a great plus
- Proficient in English and Cantonese
