Job Description
This company is a global leading player to provide integrated solution for asset managers including data, software and services. Currently they are looking for a seasoned Business Development Director to lead the sales team to expand the Asia market coverage. This position will focus on the BPO services business, e.g. Fund Accounting, Trade Processing, Risk Monitoring, Middle office services etc.
Job responsibilities
- Lead a small sales team to cover Asia Region facing off C-suite level of client side
- Build and maintain a solid partner network to expand market reach in the region
- Manage a healthy sales pipeline from existing and new clients (both individual and team) to ensure revenue target are met
- Develop effective strategies to identify and understand key decision makers, and convert opportunities into deals
- Inspire confidence with Senior Executive of clients
Requirements
- Bachelor degree; minimum of 10+ years of sales and client servicing experience to buyside (hedge fund, asset management or fund administrators). Ideally candidates are from outsourcing/ BPO background who is familiar with Middle office operations, fund accounting, trade processing etc and understand off-shore work setup
- Excellent communications in English and Chinese
- Solid industry network and experience; with the ability to liaise with CXO, Senior portfolio managers, Compliance traders, Technology team etc
- Business travel within APAC is required
